Choice funerals was founded in 2010 by Kristine Rose. The motivation to start the service was in response to her own personnel experience after the sudden death of her sister in a motor vehicle accident. This experience aroused her strong desire to have more options in the funeral industry that accommodated family control and personnel care of the deceased.
She has created a service for families wanting to stay involved, keeping the deceased at home, or at a suitable place up until disposition( burial or cremation), which means that the family can say farewell in their own way.
Choice Funerals can guide you through arrangements for cremation, or burial. So although you will have a lot of control of the process, you are not alone. We make sure you have all the necessary legal and medical documents.
You can choose from a selection of coffins including simple cardboard coffin, allowing options for budget and style.
We offer natural body care using essential oils,and dry ice or ice packs to keep the body cool when necessary,helping to care for the environment and your loved one.
We support and encourage families to plan ahead and contact us as far in advance of expected death as possible so as to be prepared.
